Limassol
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established and International company with diverse business interests, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and technically capable IT Manager to join their expanding team of professionals based in Limassol.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Running regular checks on network and data security.
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation.
- Designing training programs and workshops for staff.
- Conducting regular system audits.
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff.
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
- Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget.
- Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement.
- Travelling abroad for work purposes.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar capacity is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English are a must.
- Experienced of working with Navision Software will be highly beneficial.
- Ability to travel outside of Cyprus on a business trips is a must, due to global office locations.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
- Expertise in data centre management and data governance.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
