CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of the Island’s leading and most highly respected Banking Institutions, we are seeking to recruit a highly experienced and capable IT Business Analyst to join their expanding team of professionals based in Nicosia.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Promotes change through the identification / recommendation of innovative business solutions that meet the long-term business strategies and facilitate the continuous upgrade of customer experience through process re-engineering and /or application software development (ie integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; focusing on quality improvements and data management).
- Evaluates and analyses the proposed solutions, assess the limitations of these and explores ways of maximising their added value to the Group.
- Acts as the liaison between the business and other stakeholders and facilitates their effective cooperation.
- Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements and presents these to business stakeholders in order to review and obtain sign off.
- Participates in various stages of a project (i.e. assist the business owner to complete the Business Case; records functional requirements to be used for issuing an RFP; guides business users when writing test cases and testing scenarios; supports the change request process) with the aim of ensuring that the implementation of the project will satisfy business stakeholders’ need.
- Carries out business analysis for IT Requests (Jira Request Management) received from various business units, ensuring that these are clear for IT to implement.
- Acts as the liaison between IT and the Business stakeholders for all requirements submitted to IT and supports IT during implementation with any clarifications required.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or other related subject.
- Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management (e.g. IIBA) is considered as an additional advantage.
- At least three years of experience working in a technical business analyst position.
- At least two year experience working on IT banking applications.
- Excellent Written and verbal communication in both Greek & English.
- Presentation Skills.
- Structure Analytical and Critical Thinking.
- Very good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time, workload and multiple tasks.
- Teamwork.
- Ability to take initiatives and make decisions.
- Problem-Solving Skills.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in SQL, PL / SQL will be considered as an additional asset.
