CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Electrical Engineering company with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Electrical Technician to join their expanding team of professionals.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Initiates engineering change orders.
- Assists in building and repairing parts.
- Responsible for testing subassemblies and final assemblies according to established procedures.
- Uses standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes and meters.
- Identifies various electronic and mechanical components to ensure proper material handling.
- Performs routing repair and preventive maintenance as required.
- Performs verification checks on electrical and electronic instruments.
- Writes procedures for test and inspection with the support of Quality and R&D departments.
- Investigates and analyzes part failure.
- Follows established safety procedures.
- Performs test and inspection tasks at or above acceptable times and quality levels.
- May assist in training new test technicians.
- Responsible for quality as related to job duties, and has the authority to address issues of quality at any level.
- Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and endures duties of high quality standards at all times. Also ensures subordinates act in the same manner.
Key Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of two years related work experience.
- Associates technical engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics or the equivalent in directly related work experience.
- Relevant professional work permit.
- Intermediate PC skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
- Team spirit; must be able to work well with others.
- Results orientation.
