As a bar waiter/waitress you will ensure that all guests are served to the company’s standards in the Bar or Lounge areas. You will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality are demonstrated at all times within all Food and Beverage areas.
Additionally you will serve and explain drinks, cocktails and coffees to guests including ingredients and discussing any allergy information.
What we expect from you:
- To welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company’s standards in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- To take beverage orders and serving them to the guests on a timely manner
- To respond to guests requests
- To be fully aware of the bar menu along with the procedure
- To have a good knowledge of wine selection, wine service and beer service
- To take guest beverage of food orders and input them to the point of sale system
- To be able to up sell promotion available in the outlet
- To ensure serving station is well stocked at all times
- To accurately total, process and collect payments from guests
- To attend daily briefings from management who will explain any special requirements of service
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of a Hotel & Catering school
- Woking experience of at least 2 years in a similar position
- A sound knowledge of spirits, beers, wine and coffees
- Excellent communication skills and customer oriented
- Sufficient knowledge of how to use the Point of Sales system
- Courteous, professional and an efficient excellent provider
- EU citizen or an EU work permit holder
