On behalf of our client, a well-established food and beverage retailer in Nicosia, we are seeking a reliable individual to assist with the flow of stock through our warehouse. A warehouse operative must be able to perform a range of functions that may include the receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
· Moving goods to the correct area of the warehouse
· Moving and stacking goods ready for delivery
· Ensuring of the right type and quantity of goods
· Recording damaged, missing or defective goods
· Storage and stock control
· Compliance with security procedures and health and safety
· Communicating with manufacturers and distributors
Key Skills/Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Working Background in a warehouse or logistics is preferred
· Previous experience in a similar role considered an advantage
· Holder of a clean HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) driving license
