Job Description

Role:

The Recruitment Unit Operations Manager, as part of the leadership team, will be involved in the overseeing, developing and implementation of the University recruitment strategy.

 Main Responsibilities:

  • Being involved in the practical implementation of the University’s student recruitment strategy to maximize recruitment growth.
  • Being involved in the setting of operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning, and cost/benefit analyses; defining user requirements; establishing technical specifications, and production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
  • Maintains and improves Recruitment Unit/Call Centre operations by monitoring system performance; identifying and resolving problems; preparing and completing action plans; completing system audits and analyses; managing system and process improvement.
  • Accomplishes Recruitment Unit/Call Centre human resource objectives by recruiting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching and disciplining employees; administering scheduling systems; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, reviewing performance and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Meets Recruitment Unit/Call Center business and financial objectives by estimating requirements; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Monitors the substantial quantity of inbound and outbound calls and emails to achieve objectives and improve customer service.
  • Initiates and manages projects designed to enhance the student experience and maximize conversion from enquiry through to enrollment.
  • Ensures the development and implementation of recruitment and conversion plans for the University’s priority markets to secure growth in student numbers.
  • Evaluates recruiting techniques and materials and provides suggestions for reinforcement.
  • Being involved in the effective management of the University’s network of agents.

 Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek Languages
  • Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues.
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience in a relevant operation setup
  • Relevant working experience in a higher education organisation, in handling relevant responsibilities, will be considered as an advantage.

  • Able to develop and nurture improved performance across sales and service.
