ACM, on behalf of our client, a shipping company is seeking to employ a Naval Architect
Execution of engineering reviews in an efficient, unbiased, way in full compliance to company and national and international requirements as applicable, such as:
oFreeboard calculations
oStability calculations
oStrength analysis
oGrain loading calculations
oSOPEPs
oCargo Securing Manuals
oFire plans
oOther main ship’s calculations and plans
Prompt and accurate engineering review reporting;
Correct assignment of numbering;
Use of correct issue of controlled documents and reference material;
Correct and accurate identification of all documents received or produced;

Degree in Naval Architecture
Previous experience in similar position is not required
Computer literate
Ability to travel abroad
Organisational skills;
Ability to adhere to deadlines;
Fluency in English both written and spoken

Excellent remuneration package
