CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an international Information Technology company with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and technically strong QA Engineer with previous, demonstrable testing experience to join their expanding team of professionals.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring that all the software components and applications meet or exceed the highest quality industry standards. You will participate in the design and implementation of test plans including both manual and whenever possible leverage test automation. You will always represent the customer’s voice when it comes to the high-quality expectation that our clients’ customers entrust in them.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Adhere to defined QA processes and standards to ensure all quality standards are met.
- Run functional and non-functional tests following scripted manual / automated tests.
- Conduct exploratory testing on company software applications.
- Develop and execute manual test scripts and test scenarios in order to validate the practicality, performance, quality and reliability of our web projects.
- Contribute to the company’s regression test suite.
- Follow test design guidelines and standards, design and develop Java test automation scripts to automate testing using Selenium.
- Report software defects using defect tracking system so that corrective solutions can be determined, prioritized and scheduled.
- Using company reporting tools and standards, report test results to the team lead and/or management.
- Work with Developers and QA Leads to help perform root cause analysis of issues.
Key Skills/Experience:
- 3+ years related QA Analyst experience in manual software testing is a must.
- Previous experience in test automation using Java and Selenium preferred.
- Experience working with Agile development/testing processes.
- Hands-on experience in test case design and documentation.
- Previous experience with industry leading test management and testing tools.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Test Automation in a cloud based environment.
- Previous experience in working with GIT in a collaborative coding environment.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
