As GM, he managed the entire operations of the hotel with Accor quality service standards.

This 27-storey hotel had 120 rooms and 50 suits, providing full view of the River Nile. It has 2 restaurants, 2 bars operated by 400 staff.

This was a challenging role because they did not have good market share in Cairo, and the hotel needed to be renovated. Renovations were done for the hotel while still in operation and he managed a re-opening after renovations were completed.

Achievement:
His strong sales and marketing skills, experience in delivering excellent quality, strong leadership qualities and a good team helped him win the award as the best GM 2001-2002 for Safir International Hotels.

Safir Palace was a 5-Star Hotel in Kuwait. They had 114 rooms, 228 beds, 2 restaurants, tea lounge, bar, full spa and conference facilities.

He was in charge of opening this Safir Palace Hotel and became its first GM. While managing Palace Hotel after its soft opening, he was tasked to open Safir AlJoan Resort, working more than 17 hours a day for three months. After the successful opening of AlJoan, the Resort Manager took over his position as GM and he was promoted to Corporate General Manager of Safir International Hotel Management reporting to the VP Operations and the Chairman of Safir International Hotels & Resorts. His responsibility was to work on new projects and opening of hotels for the Safir Group such as re-opening of Safir International Hotel, Kuwait after total upgrading.

Received: Appreciation Certificate & Trophy for the smooth and on-time opening of the Safir Resorts in 2000.

This 5-Star classified resort, operated by Hilton International, is located in Hurghada Bay, opened all year round. There were 300 staff.

He managed the pre-opening of the hotel. After that, under a special arrangement between the Owner and Hilton, he managed the overall operations including rooms, F&B, Human Resource and overall resort operations. Reported to and managed relations with the Owner.
