My job with OCS Resolution is more or less the same as working for Amey Business Services as my old boss fixed me up with this job. As with me being made redundant she would be shorthanded and required a administrator/security guard and said that she wanted me to take on this role. I had to work two shifts one was from 07:00 until 09:30 and the afternoon shift was from 15:00 until 20:30. On some occasions I was asked to work extra hours and some weekends.

The morning shift required me to open the building in the morning open the car park distribute the milk to all the office kitchens. Also sort and deliver the morning post to the various departments.

The evening shift required me to collect outgoing mail and sort it for collection. I also carried out many tasks that I had been doing while working for Amey Business Services. I was also responsible for setting the intruder alarm and securing the building.


OCTOBER 2004 TO DECEMBER 2005 -- SITE SERVICES ASSISTANT FOR AMEY BUSINESS SERVICES.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

My job here has a vast amount of duties involving the running of the building and assisting the staff based there. To log calls on a web based system for building repairs and also making sure that the building maintenance it carried out for all the equipment.
Ordering stock for our drinks machine and supplies for the post room, I am responsible for all the incoming and outgoing mail and supplying stationary for most of the departments.
Controlling the cleaning contract by carrying out cleaning checklists, and arranging meetings with the company manager. I also have a lot of dealings with are vending machine supplier.
Keeping records of invoices and logged calls.

Keeping check on the first aid boxes and replenishing them every month.
I completed a Fire Wardens course while working here.
I also completed and passed an Environmental Awareness Course and examination.

I would sometimes be contacted out of hours in the evenings and weekends to attend work in an emergency, so I am very flexible. I would also sometimes need to work a later shift if we had engineers on site carrying out work on the building that could only be done out of hours.

I cover the front reception when the receptionist is on a break or at lunch. When I am covering reception I am responsible for answering the switchboard and dealing with the callers request. I also have to book meeting rooms, parking spaces and hot desks. We also receive many parcel deliveries.

Working for Dalkia on the Sun Microsystems contract for the UK and Ireland.
Producing and issuing Planned Preventative Maintenance every month to the Dalkia managers and engineers throughout the UK and Ireland.
Chasing Dalkia sites for Plan Preventative maintenance worksheets if they are overdue.
Keeping the Maximo database up to date, adding and removing equipment.

Raising purchase orders on Maximo to order maintenance visits from sub-contractor and also to order parts and new equipment.
Help with the running of the service desk, this is for the client to log faults and problems with the building. Then raising a service deskwork order and issuing it to one of our engineers to attend.
Completing and closing planned preventative maintenance and service desk jobs on receiving the engineers daily work sheets. Entering the engineer's feedback and hours taken to complete each job.
