EXPERIENCE
(2009-Present) Web Developer, Digipro Computer Consultants Ltd
Overview of Position
Being the only Developer of a small company, I am responsible for re-developing and maintaining a big online system from
scratch.
Principal Accountabilities
Project planning, analysis and design of the whole system were required, while consideration had to be taken for
all aspects and essential functionality prior carrying out any development.
An entity relational database was built on MySQL platform using MySQL Workbench and PHPMyAdmin and a
secure front interface using PHP5, HTML/CSS and Javascript.
AJAX & JSON technologies have also been used when required (usually for funky user friendly functionality).
JQuery, PHPMailer and ADODB libraries were used during the development of the web system as well.
I have built a secure system that involves user IP restrictions, automated user and email accounts creation and
CMS interfaces for maintenance.
The system is also able to display multiple flash videos and slides using FlowPlayer and adobe Flash Player.
Other areas of the system allow the user to create his/her own page using the FCKEditor, which I embedded into
the system after some major alterations.
I have even implemented a chat functionality between the online users of the system using AJAX and JSON.
In terms of graphics I constantly liaise with our graphics designer and my supervisor who authorises the designs.
