Roles / Responsibilities:

My role at Cameron & Cameron Asset Management (“CCAM”) encompasses the design, implementation and management of both IT and business related projects. These include:

• 4-Series Wealth Management Application Server Implementation The project encompassed the roll-out and data migration from existing data sources to automate and rationalize back-office processing of investment client data. This included the implementation of rules and procedures in line with legislative and regulatory guidelines. Microgen 4Series is a fully integrated trust and fund administration system. The package includes money laundering, details of investment portfolios, Fund / Trust administration and accounting, and the ability to manage all aspects of the client relationship and reporting.
• Design tax efficient offshore investment structures for emerging market property developments.
These include investment vehicles in the British Virgin Islands and Cyprus, and development vehicles in Eastern Europe in consultation with leading tax specialists. Stakeholders include Unit Trust Funds and Protected Cell Regulated Funds in the Channel Islands.
• Manage 3rd party relationships with legal representatives and Trustees of the various investment structures in relation to:
- Tax advice in relation to these investment structures.
- Risk analysis of the investment opportunities.
• New Channel Islands Office IT-Infrastructure roll-out /migration. Wintel / CISCO / Windows XP SOE Desktop roll-out. Negotiate with 3rd party vendors and manage customer expectations. Complete new office infrastructure solution design and project manage rollout.
• Implementation of new Infrastructure and Web-Servers. Complete Solution Design, negotiate with 3rd party suppliers and project manage the implementation of new infrastructure and web servers.
• Project Manage a multi- million dollar mezzanine finance investment to fund the planning process for a property development in Eastern Europe. Project Scope of work, development of project plan, critical path analysis, identification of key milestone events, budget / cash flow modeling and analysis, source and appoint key professionals / vendors, facilitation role to development Boards.
• New development project site office roll-out in Montenegro.
• Remote Access solution allowing staff to work from home. Solution design and project management of remote CISCO IP phone solution, terminal services, remote access to Exchange over https, remote server access via VPN.
• Data Analysis: Analysis of financial investment data, loan to equity conversions, return on investment calculations, and the analysis of project budgets and cashflows.
• Client Reporting: Generate Interim reports for client investment portfolios.
• Establishment of a managed Trust Company in Guernsey.
Management of certain outsourced non-regulated administration activities and consultation with stakeholders on regulated activities. Established Web presence and email infrastructure.
• Contract negotiation with stakeholders for investment structures.
Design investment methodology including loan positions and waterfall investment structures to protect investor capital and development of shareholder agreements to share in future profits.
• Investment advisor to Investment Structures. Provide Interim progress reports to stakeholders, advise stakeholders on current and future investments of regulated funds.
• Investment Prospectus Research, Design and Development.
• Overseas Corporate Director of CCAM Special Opportunities PCC Ltd in Guernsey. Attend regular Board meetings in relation to the management of the company. Manage stakeholder interests.

Suncorp Metway Ltd – Investment Bank (Brisbane – contract role – fixed term)

Position/Title: Infrastructure Solution Design / Analyst
Role / Responsibilities:

• Provide a mixture of solution design, analyst, and project management services depending on the nature and scale of the project.
• Present proposed solutions to technical / business / financial stakeholders.
• Lead project through the review / approval process including security, disaster recovery, strategy and architecture, infrastructure, capacity planing, storage management, technology and planning, production assurance, distributed systems, operations, solutions and estimates, and contracts.
• Negotiate / broker resources from various departments and 3rd party vendors to implement the designs.
• Manage project implementations including tolerance monitoring and exception reporting (specifically time and cost), stage reporting,
• Undertake various detailed and high level designs through to detailed costing / specifications.
• Analyse project requirements and provide estimates and solutions in conjunction with client specifications and alignment with IT strategy, architecture and standards constraints.
• Define scope of work, identify and mitigate risks / issues, specify assumptions and constraints, define design drivers, and provide a high level and / or detailed solution designs.
• Design solutions incorporating production, development, production assurance, and disaster recovery environments.
• Development of new standards: including Active Directory / Windows XP SOE.
• Generate end of project reports and undertake post project Reviews.

o Newly acquired Insurance subsidiary integration - remote access security.
o Citrix Server farm sizing and rationalization.
o Relocation and upgrade of Ingenico Chip and Pin Card reader back-end servers.

Qsuper Superannuation Fund - Public Sector (Brisbane – contract role – fixed term)

Role / Responsibilities:

• Project Manage, design and implement a Windows XP / 2003 based solution.
• Manage migration from Windows NT / 2000 to Windows XP / 2003.
• Ratify 3rd party consultancy recommendations for the desktop and server environments.
• Define a project plan detailing all aspects of the project including milestone events, critical path analysis and resource requirements
• Develop and document Windows XP and Windows 2003 SOE builds.
• Document all aspects of the project including the SOE builds, software configuration guides and hardware configuration guides.

Role / Responsibilities:

• Install, customize and maintain standard systems software products for Windows NT Server platforms.
• Provide technical expertise to clients in the area of Open Systems Software - ensuring that potential software purchases/ applications comply with departmental standards and security policies.
• Support of system environment.
• Analyse client requirements and design technical solutions.
• Server implementations including application of security, firewall changes, capacity planning, performance analysis, disaster recovery, backups and system monitoring.
